MDPE (Medium Density Polyethylene) pipeline laying in CGD involves installing durable, flexible polyethylene pipelines for medium-pressure gas distribution networks, typically within urban areas. These pipelines, often used alongside steel pipelines for high-pressure segments, offer corrosion resistance and flexibility, making them well-suited for delivery of natural gas to residential, commercial, and industrial sectors. O&M for CGD Networks
Operation and Maintenance (O&M) of CGD networks includes routine inspections, leak detection, and repairs to ensure safe and efficient gas distribution. BKT’s services to oil & gas companies involve pipeline monitoring, emergency repairs, scheduled maintenance, overhauling and repairs of existing pipelines and associated works. These efforts maintain network reliability and ensure consistent gas supply for residential, industrial, and commercial users.
Installation and Commissioning of PNG connections
PNG connections the end of a natural gas distribution project, involves surveys to design the distribution network, securing permits, laying pipes, vertical piping for user connectivity, fitting and testing of GI/copper pipes and metres, converting LPG stoves to PNG, and activating gas connections. For homes, PNG provides a safe alternative to LPG cylinders & in commercial settings, such as hotels and hospitals, and in small industries, it ensures a continuous, reliable fuel supply for daily operations. BKT has performed 1 lakh plus such connections till date across India.
OFC Laying
OFC laying project involves the installation of optical fiber cables to create a high-speed communication network. It includes planning the cable route, trenching or aerial deployment, cable splicing and termination, and testing for optimal performance. BKT has developed OFC infrastructure for Airtel, Vodafone and Reliance.
EPC
EPC (Engineering, Procurement and constructions) works include designing, planning, procurement, construction and testing the project. In EPC project BKT aims to provide streamlined project management by reducing risks and interferences, improving coordination and communication, enhancing project efficiency, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence.
